A Missouri Lottery player won a $100,000 Powerball prize when his ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball number, in the Aug. 21 drawing. Because the winner had also played the Power Play add-on feature, the base prize amount of $50,000 was instantly doubled to $100,000 when the Power Play multiplier number drawn was 2.
The winning ticket was purchased at Country Club Car Wash, 4200 Mexico Road, in St. Peters.
